The pair was likely to find support at 119.35, Tuesday's low, and resistance at 121.29, Friday's high.
At the same time, the US dollar rose against the euro and down against the British Pound, with EUR / USD shedding 0.10% to hit 1.0830 and GBP / USD rising 0.02% to hit 1.5039.
